Loft Bed Space Benefits
You're a new college graduate renting an apartment bedroom that seems impossibly small for a desk, dresser, bed, and television. Or perhaps you're a parent with four kids in a three-bedroom house. Whatever the case, you need more space. You need a loft bed.

Loft beds are essentially bunk beds without a bottom bunk. Instead of that bottom bunk, a loft bed will feature anything from open space to a desk, bookshelf, or dresser (though some beds known as triple loft beds actually feature two top bunks and one bottom bunk). By elevating your bed above ground and leaving floor space open beneath it, a loft bed expands the square footage of your bedroom - something that even David Copperfield or David Blaine couldn't do, at least without a sledgehammer. Loft Bed Styles
Though designs such as study loft beds tend to be thought of as purely functional, many people also purchase loft beds because of their unique style. Metal loft beds in particular can create rooms with a very clean and modern appearance, while wood loft beds combine contemporary functionality with the classic beauty of woods such as cherry, oak, and pine.
Loft Bed Fun
We've already mentioned that loft beds can feature anything from desks to dressers, but a kids loft bed design can take this accessorizing to a whole different level. Tent loft beds, for example, feature canopies that give a child's bed the feel of a campground or castle. Some of our children's loft beds even have slides. Such features can be a big help to parents with kids who normally hate to hear that it's bedtime.
In addition to all of these benefits, many of our twin, twin XL, and full loft beds would be suitable for institutional settings such as campgrounds and college dorms where durable, high-quality, space-efficient beds are needed.
